Jodie is inspired by the opportunities the Science Museum gives her to utilise each of its spaces in novel and inventive ways. Making the Modern World is her favourite gallery because it's home to the Apollo 10 capsule—an awesome artifact of space exploration and an amazing talking point at events.
Bryony thinks the museum is unlike anywhere else she's ever worked. Its many spaces make it feel like several venues in one, all brimming with potential to be transformed into the perfect event location. Her favourite space is the Flight gallery, where guests can mingle in an atmosphere of historic romance evoked by the classic aircraft that paved the way for modern aviation.
April came to the museum with a wealth of experience gained from working in various London venues. April enjoys working at the Science Museum because of how diverse and adaptable the galleries and spaces are. From facilitating events in our new space Illuminate to the amazing Exploring Space gallery, April loves how each event which takes place at the Science Museum is totally unique.
Rebecca loves working at the Science Museum because it frees her imagination and offers unlimited scope for creativity. Her go-to place is the Exploring Space gallery, where she can often be found admiring two of the famous rockets suspended from its ceiling: a British Black Arrow and a United States Scout.
Having previously worked at a venue in the City, Kishni has a strong background in the London catering and events market. Kishni loves the range and versatility of galleries and exhibitions within the Science Museum, a passion which shines through on client show-rounds. Her favourite gallery is Mathematics: The Winton Gallery due to it's incredible aesthetic.
As a Creative Events Management graduate, Kirsty enjoys building on client’s initial event concepts and ideas to produce spectacular events. Kirsty’s favourite space within the Science Museum is Illuminate, as its blank-canvas nature yields endless branding opportunities for clients to transform the space and make a true impact.
The contrasting nature of Science Museum events is what keeps Kylie focused on her work: staging an event for 25 people one week and another for 400 in completely different surroundings the next. With a huge assortment of galleries and exhibition spaces to work with, Kylie enjoys tailoring events to fit each venue's individual character.
Ella believes that the Science Museum is the most unique venue she has ever worked in. She enjoys experiencing first-hand the transformation of a working gallery into a truly spectacular venue space. Flight is Ella’s favourite gallery, as she believes the creative opportunities to transform this space are endless.
As a highly organised individual with a strong background in delivering quality events across the UK, Sophie has the ability to envision an end-to-end plan of any given project. She ensures that every event she delivers is built on quality without compromise. Her favourite gallery is Flight, as it enables consistent versatility across evening events.
Joanna has a wealth of experience in ensuring quality in the delivery of events. As a previous events manager, she has an eye for detail and prides herself on her ability to manage multiple streams of work at any given time. Her favourite gallery is Tomorrow's World which is home to the fascinating BepiColombo spacecraft stack.
Prior to working at the Science Museum, Hannah was an Operations and Event Manager at a leading London catering company, working across a range of unique venues of London. Hannah has a pro-active approach to delivering events with a keen eye for detail. Her favourite space is Illuminate as it offers so much potential for clients to make the space their own!
Coming from a scientific background, Lorna enjoys sharing her interest of STEM subjects through interacting with exhibits during introductory tours. She is extremely passionate about the museum's ability to engage people with science and to inspire those to think critically about the world we live in.
Ben thrives on the variety and dynamism of the events industry. The multitude of spaces in the museum and the stories each one tells means he always has something different and exciting to offer his clients. His favourite spaces are Engineer Your Future and the IMAX Theatre, where he's seen some incredible product launches and awards ceremonies take place.
