What was the event brief & objective?
To deliver a graduation ceremony & lunch reception for all of the 2025 SJP Academy graduates. With 330 guests, our aim was to arrange a ceremony including sessions from SJP experts & Alumni, including a scroll ceremony on stage and an address from our CEO, Mark FitzPatrick.
Why was the Science Museum chosen for this event?
This venue was used for the 2024 graduation. It is in a good location and is a prestigious venue for such an event.
What sort of experience did you want to create?
A celebration of our graduate’s hard work and efforts in becoming fully qualified Financial Advisers. Graduates were joined by peers, family/friends to celebrate the occasion.
What made you decide on IMAX: The Ronson Theatre and Flight for your event?
These were great spaces that worked well together. The Flight gallery is such a breath-taking space that we thought was fitting for our event. The IMAX worked brilliantly for our presentation/videos, with a large space for both panel speakers and the scroll ceremony.
What were the benefits of using these spaces for your event?
They were large enough to comfortably fit all our guests, with easy access to all areas. The Flight gallery holds a lot of history and information which our attendees found interesting. The size of the IMAX is also a stand out feature with its screen size and technical capabilities.
Who were your catering and AV partners? Was anything bespoke created for this event?
Catering from Food by Dish was a light sandwich lunch with cakes, prosecco and mocktails. Equip supported us with production which included pre-recorded videos, music and our own branding on the walls of the IMAX.
What feedback did you receive from guests?
