Why did you choose the Science Museum?

We felt like the Science Museum was the ideal venue to hold our event as it suited our futuristic, technology-focused theme perfectly.

Please describe the brief of the event, when did it take place? Who was the event for? How many people? Core goals and objectives

Our Resourcing 2025 event was held at the end of September and welcomed over 100 guests including prospects, clients and PeopleScout attendees. Our main objective was to formally introduce our award-winning Affinix technology to the European market, along with our new UK brand look. As Affinix has been designed to help employers expedite and simplify the process of acquiring new talent, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to engage with our guests and give them insights on the future of resourcing.

Which spaces at the museum did you use as part of the event and how did they enhance the experience for your guests? What happened throughout the event?

The first part of the evening was spent in Exploring Space for welcome drinks and canapes. The second part of the evening was held in Mathematics: The Winton Gallery, where guests heard the thoughts of a prominent futurist and Allison Brigden, our Affinix specialist. Along with this, we had VR headsets, a gif photo booth, and some interactive games.

Who were your catering and AV partners? Did they create anything bespoke for the event? How did the setting of the Science Museum contribute to the overall feel and purpose of the event?

Thanks to our AV partner, Event Concept, we were able to enhance the futuristic feel of the Science Museum by adding numerous spotlights of our brand colours in both rooms. As a big part of the evening was dedicated to presentations, we had a stage built in under the main structure in Maths and benches set up.

Our catering partner, Rocket, matched our theme with futuristic looking trays and an intricate presentation.

What feedback did you receive from the guests?

We received lovely feedback from our guests, they all agreed the world-renowned reputation of the Science Museum contributed to the overall feel of the event. They complimented the food and really enjoyed our presentation and interactive games.
