What was the event brief & objective?
An opportunity for managers to present to pre-existing and new clients.
Why was the Science Museum chosen for this event?
The Science Museum’s central location in South Kensington makes it easily accessible for our attendees, ensuring convenience and encouraging attendance. The venue also offers a variety of spaces that can accommodate all of us and our needs. The combination of unique historical significance, large spaces, and exceptional service makes the Science Museum an ideal choice for us.
What sort of experience did you want to create?
By hosting our conference in such an iconic venue, we were able to create an unforgettable experience for our clients. My goal was to create an experience that would impress our clients and strengthen relationships. By combining a stunning venue with guest speakers and a personal touch to Liontrust, we ensured that attendees left feeling valued and inspired.
How did you choose which spaces at the museum you wanted to use?
I visited the museum and walked through the “client experience” of using Flight and IMAX: The Ronson Theatre and it just worked perfectly for our event.
What was the benefit of using Flight and IMAX: The Ronson Theatre for your event?
The variety of fascinating displays in Flight were really impressive. It was a great space for what we required, the food and coffee stations were perfectly set up and the room worked really well, especially going into IMAX after. The IMAX screen was the main standout feature, showcasing our presentation on a large screen and with the sound system that delivers multi-dimensional audio, and the visual quality was second to none.
What catering did you opt for? What inspired your menu choices? Was anything bespoke created?
Clerkenwell Green provided catering on the day – it was a work choice buffet menu with lots of different options.
What production elements were included as part of the event?
We used a great audio company, Equip London. They provided lights, logos on the wall etc. – they were very helpful.
What feedback did you receive from guests?
Really good feedback. Everyone loved both spaces, Flight and IMAX.
