Event space: Energy Hall & Making the Modern World
What was the event brief & objective?
Suzano participates in London Pulp Week, a historic event since 1896. The whole industry congregates in London, and it gives Suzano an opportunity to host an event for our customers.
Every year we have a new location for the dinner, to keep our guests guessing. Our theme for the event this year was ‘innovation’, which matched the Science Museum perfectly.
Why was the Science Museum chosen for this event?
I loved the innovative space – the Energy Hall and Making the Modern World were thought provoking, conversation-starting locations.
What sort of experience did you want to create?
Our event follows a certain blue print, we have a welcome cocktail and aperitif, followed by a seated dinner and presentation from your CEO. I wanted to provide a setting for a memorable evening and where our customers could relax and enjoy themselves.
In terms of AV and catering, was anything bespoke created for your event by the suppliers?
We are a Brazilian company, so we offered Brazilian and British food, which is always a crowd pleaser. We also chose food stations so our guests could get up and look about the gallery.
Wise provided the uplighting to really showcase the exhibits in the gallery. We also had a band, which was acoustic, in the Energy Hall to create a bit more of a fun vibe and then on the stage in Making the Modern World.
What feedback did you receive from guests?
My guests loved the venue! And the combination of the food and music. My team told me there was an audible wow gasp when people entered Making the Modern World!
Client testimonial:
“Working with the Science Museum was a dream – a very experienced team who helped me and the other vendors co-ordinate and communicate easily. The venue created the wow factor I wanted my attendees to experience and is so much more inspiring than from other venues in London. I liked how I had control to create and design my own vibe within the framework of the venue.”
